FolderPlay is an audio player application for Symbian S60v5 touch screen mobile phones. As the name suggests, you don't need to create a playlist for your player to play instead you tell the folder where your media is. FolderPlay recursively plays a subset of the natural directory structure.
FolderPlay supports following formats: WAV, LPCM, FLAC, APE/MAC, MP3, AC3, OGG, AAC (ADTS only). Some of the features of FolderPlay are:
- It has software amplifier.
- It supports CUE sheets with FLAC, APE and OGG.
- It supports random rewinding, continues playback from previously stored position.
- Simple and light on battery.
- Provides the following built-in languages support: en, ru, he, de, fr, zh.
FolderPlay application is developed by Alexander Demidov. You can download the version 1.8.0 from FolderPlay website or from the following download link. The application is compatible to work with Nokia X6, N97, N97 Mini, 5800 XpressMusic, 5530 XpressMusic, 5230, 5233 and 5235.
